So I finished To Kill a Mockingbird yesterday night :)
I was pleasantly suprised at how much I actually enjoyed
this novel. Usually I love classics, but I do find them difficult to
get into because of their old style of writing and use of phased out
words and phrases. However, this book was actually quite addictive
and was enjoyable.
I wouldn't say it was my absolute favourite classic, but I would say
it's one of them. However, I would also like to clarify that during
the novel it did have its ups and downs. Some chapters seemed to
go nowhere, and others were highly addictive.
I would recommend it, especially for fans of Because of Winne Dixie, because
I believe it had some similar themes. It actually reminded me quite a lot
of Because of Winne Dixie, which I absolutely love.
Happy Reading,
xoxo R
